Add dry ingredients to the bag in this order: ½ cup light or dark brown sugar, ¼ cup granulated sugar, ¼ teaspoon baking soda, ¼ teaspoon baking powder, and ¼ teaspoon salt, 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup chocolate chips, m&m's, or mix-ins.
On the bag, write the following (or print off my free tags!):
"Add: 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and ½ cup melted butter (i.e. 1 stick). Roll into 2-tablespoon balls, gently flatten, and bake at 350°F 8-10 minutes."
Store in pantry for 1-2 months. Each bag makes about [adjustable]1 dozen cookies.[/adjustable]
