This recipe makes one big, soft, chewy chocolate chip cookie to satisfy all your cookie cravings!

Preheat your oven to 350ºF.
Melt 3 tablespoons unsalted butter in a microwave-safe mixing bowl. Stir in the 2 teaspoons granulated sugar and ¼ cup light brown sugar (4 tablespoons), followed by the 1 large egg yolk, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, ¼ teaspoon baking soda, and ¼ teaspoon salt. Add the ½ cup all-purpose flour and stir until just incorporated. Fold in the ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Use your hands to form the dough into a giant ball.
Bake for 14-16 minutes, or until the edges are set, but the center looks under-baked. The cookie will continue to bake from the residual heat on the pan after you remove it from the oven.
